We have an ending!
The first main ending, with 5 different branches, has been written. This gives a good idea of the scale we're working with here, this is just the failure ending but there are five different variations depending on your stats. It's always hard to write a good bad ending, but I think we really nailed these, they're bittersweet because, especially if you managed good stats before you flunked out, you took something away from your experiences, but the character is left wondering what the player knows: if there's another life they could have had where they went further than they did. It also shows a bit of our design philosophy, I think. It's possible for you to end up content, even a character that's happy, without succeeding all the way, just like life.
